Help us fill Purses with what Women in need... really Need.

With all donations received we stuff the purses with love once a month & distribute them to crisis centers, homeless & domestic violence shelters in our Treasure valley.

Items Needed to Fill Purses...

Gently used purses, Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Razors, Hats, Lotions, Tampons, Pads, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Gloves, Socks, New underwear, Food Gift Cards and more.

Our History & Mission

Launee Wolverton, a realtor at Silvercreek Realty Group[HB2], started the ‘Purses with a Purpose’ fundraiser in 2019 to support homeless and battered women by donating purses filled with products for everyday hygiene.

She started with Facebook posts, asking women to donate gently used products like purses, along with soaps, shampoo, feminine products, toothbrushes, toothpaste, scarves, etc. Donations came pouring in, she and her team now pack the purses and donate them to about ten shelters in the city, she receives at least one donation every day.

Apart from individuals, some of the valley’s charitable groups also donate; the Boise Diaper Bank donated many pallets of feminine products to the fundraiser.

Launee explains, "You know, honestly, I can’t say it enough; it blesses me to bless other women, I grew up poor, so I know what it’s like to not have those things, and I’m so grateful I can do it."
